I. Javier Ameijeiras (Member of the Academy of Motion Pictures) is a concept illustrator and scenic designer specializing in Film, TV and Theatre. Using both digital and traditional mediums, Ameijeiras is known for his chameleon-like abilities to conceptualize just about any visual needed by a production.
Ameijeiras has contributed to the designs of several Broadway shows, including Mrs.Doubtfire, Beetlejuice, and Tony-award winning HAMILTON. He's also contributed to various major motion pictures, including: The Greatest Showman, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Great Gatsby, Moonrise Kingdom and Step Up. TV/Episodic work includes: Smash, Gilded Age S2, Grace & Frankie and Boardwalk Empire. Live events include: Grease Live!, Rent Live!, and 91st-94th ACADEMY AWARDS.
Javier, originally from Miami, graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in Illustrations, and is based out of New York City.
