Matthew Schuss brings 9 years of real estate experience to JLL, specializing in owner and tenant representation. He joins as an Senior Vice President, utilizing his keen sense of client needs and strategic planning to provide exceptional service and tailored results. In his career he has completed retail transactions for landlords and tenants resulting in 500,000 s.f. of leased space.
Prior to joining JLL, Schuss was a Director at Winick Realty Group for 6 years where he made Commercial Observer’s 30 under 30 list for Top leasing and Sales Professions in 2018. There, he worked with landlord clients including Related, Madison Capital, Moinian Group, Meringoff Properties, Equity Residential, Springhouse Partners, SMA Equities and GFI Capital. Mr. Schuss also coordinated the expansion plans and secured locations for tenants including Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Valley Bank, Sterling Bank, Diageo, Milk Bar, Chief, Swingers, Irving Farm Coffee Roasters, Eli Zabar, Lady M Confections, and Biscuits & Bath. He also secured new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and selling additional services to current and prospective clients including Roti Modern Mediterranean, 7 Eleven and Hogsalt Hospitality.
Mr. Schuss majored in economics and receieved a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).
